A woman is telling a tall tale of a non-existent Santeria Voodoo, church members that abducted her and a MacGyver-like escape out of the movies. The Flager and St. Johns Sheriffs are buying the story - and it appears that Santeria will pay the cost of admission.

Volusia County deputies are investigating a voodoo doll was left on the lawn of a Deltona city commissioner. The 6-inch figurine was handmade of cloth and possibly grass, and tied together with string or yarn, and contains a picture of Commissioner Zenaida Denizac on the head of the doll.

A severed cow tongue shows up in the mail in Spring, MA and rather than actually wait for evidence, a local reporter takes the opportunity to increase anxieties and religious stereotypes around Santeria. He also does the 100 yr old duty of white men and quickly compares it to Satanism, which has no roots in Afrika at all.

A newsroom source reports that someone has left a large life-size replica of a rooster on a counter in the fifth floor Miami Heral newsroom. It was supposedly left by a Santeria Priest who is helping employees save their jobs.
