A Day of Healing

Temple of Nyame Presents the Annual Water Ritual and a family and friends Appreciation Day.
(A Day of Healing)

Maddox, MD on the Chesapeake Bay from 11:00 A.M. to 4 P.M.

We would like to travel as a group; therefore, we are asking those who wish to attend to meet at 1501 T Streets S.E. at 9:00 A.M. We will depart at 9:45 A.M. sharp.

Please bring a meatless dish to share. The Temple will provide paper products and beverages. Please feel free to bring a guest. Dress comfortably, warmly and bring a towel. You may also want to bring a blanket. Below are directions to the event.

The day will include a special ritual by the water, and a bonding ritual for the group. For the ritual by the water, bring one or three uncooked eggs, fruit, flowers and at least three coins. After the program, we will eat and have social time, so bring a game, music or anything you would like to share with the group.

If you have additional questions, please call Adwoa Carr at 301-736-7874; otherwise, we look forward to seeing you on Sunday, September 28, 2008 with love and appreciation.

Please note: Women who are on their moon cycle must not prepare or handle food to be shared at this event.
